Captain Gordon Cooper: Leading Aircraftsman and Photographer for 418
Captain John Hector Gordon Cooper

It is with a sad heart that I must inform you that my father and former 418 Squadron member passed away in hospital on November 10, 2017, at precisely 11 am
Gordon was stationed with 418 Edmonton as well as 432 Bomber squadrons during WWII. After the war, he was honorably discharged and rejoined the Governor General's Foot Guards and retired in the mid-1970s as full Captain.
Captain Cooper will be buried in the National Military Cemetery in Ottawa.
